Hope to see you there!

On the last Friday of each month, Judy Everard does the City-to-City walk at 5:30pm from the lobby of the Westin Hotel, 1881 Hollis Street.

If you can't make it on Friday or Saturday, our regular Tuesday afternoon 10 km walk, rated 3B, is very popular (with retirees or shift workers).  It's 4:30 - 6:30 pm every Tuesday, leaving from Sobeys/NSLC parking lot, 961 Bedford Hwy.

Following the Friday evening walks the group picks a great restaurant and fun for all!  Everyone is welcome so why not come out and join us?

Most of the walks are listed in our 'Annual Schedule of Walks’ and for those with email, a reminder is sent out shortly before the scheduled walk.

The club is always looking for new trails to hike and new leaders to guide the walks. If you wish to volunteer to lead a walk or have suggestions for a new walk, contact any of the executive members listed on the club web site. They can help you or find someone that can. Get involved and see what benefits walking can bring, you may be glad you did.

Recyclables

As a result of recycling efforts, the Club’s name is permanently inscribed on the Trans Canada Trail Pavilion located on the waterfront at the Alderney Gate Events Plaza in Dartmouth. Our first plaque appears as shown.

Fun, Fitness & Friendship

Just a reminder to let you know that we are still collecting recyclables to redeem for meters of the Trans Canada Trail.  We have just purchased our third 10-meter section and will soon have our second plaque unveiled as shown:

If you would like to donate your recyclables to this effort, please bring them to any walk or phone Judy Everard (462-1458) and arrangements can be made to have them picked up.
